The
RHS Series is designed for temperature control of typical foundry resins or
alternate liquid components. This temperature controls goes from barrel
heaters up to recirculating P.I.D. controlled resin heating systems.
Following is a selection of products that we offer for this purpose for any
level of control.
Barrel heaters are often used as a low cost and simple means of heating
liquids in drums. These units are thermostatically controlled and can
control temperature within 10 to 15 degrees of set point. Consideration must
be given to the fact that this heating is localized so the utmost in resin
temperature control will not be attained.
The heater is built to be tough, long lasting,
and resistant to chemicals. Because few materials stick to its silicone
rubber with fiberglass reinforced construction, it is easy to clean. When
not in use, it folds for convenient storage.
The total wattage (number of heaters) and the
material being heated inside of the drum must be considered when determining
the actual temperature to which that specific material can be heated.
