Handlers Heavy
duty steel construction with externally
gusseted stress points eliminates frame
flexing. This ensures that all clamping
pressure is applied to the mold.
For molds 500
to 1000lbs, an electric
actuator provides smooth, positive, controlled
clamping movement. For molds 500 - 1000lbs
requiring power roll, clamping is accomplished
with an electric double reduction gear head (AC motor).
For molds
greater than 1000lbs, hydraulic pressure is used to
control clamping. In the event of power
failure or interruption, clamping pressure is
maintained. Molds can also be rolled and
locked into position manually.
For molds
2000lbs and above, clamping is 100%
hydraulically controlled using high quality
components. Maximum efficiency is maintained
by only operating with the hydraulic unit
when pressure is required. The rolling method
is accomplished by a unique hydraulic
double-ended cylinder/chain and sprocket
combination for maximum simplicity and
durability.
Operational
controls are mounted in a NEMA enclosure using
NEMA buttons and switches that are logically
laid out for optimum efficiency and safety.
Gripping pads
with hardened teeth ensure positive mold
adhesion, long pad life, and reduced
maintenance costs.
