both the domestic and international markets
through a highly experienced group of
independent representatives. If you have a
need for equipment, please contact us directly
or our listed representative and we will
forward a quotation to your company as
expeditiously as possible. We will also
forward the information to our area
representative for follow-up with your exact
needs in mind. Direct Palmer sales personnel
visit all domestic territories twice per year
and international territories a minimum of
once per year. We would be pleased to schedule
a visit on our next trip to your area.

The Buying Process
This is a brief
description of the typical purchase of a piece of
Palmer equipment so that you know in advance how
your order will be handled.
- The Customer
contacts Palmer or our representative to request
information or a quote for a specific process or
product.
- Palmer responds,
usually within 24 hours (depending on complexity
of quote), with a written quotation and product
documentation for the request by email or fax. A
copy of the quote is usually also mailed.
- Palmer will follow
up on that quotation to ensure that everything
was received in good order and to see if there
are any further informational needs.
- When the Customer
is ready to buy, a purchase order is placed
either with Palmer Mfg. or our representative,
depending on the territory.
- Once the purchase
order is placed, it will be immediately entered
and any necessary deposits invoiced. At the same
time, we will assemble a package of the
machinery approval letter and drawings.
Generally all of these items are sent either the
day of or the day after the order is placed.
- Once necessary
deposits and approvals are received and credit
is approved, equipment construction will begin.
Please note that our lead times are based on
receipt of the listed items. Delay in receipt
can result in delay in delivery.
- The order will be
processed and shipped as expeditiously as
possible.
- Once the order has
shipped, manuals will be shipped by courier the
next day to the attention of the person that
placed the purchase order.
- Palmer will follow
up with the Customer after the equipment has
shipped to ensure that everything was received
in good condition, that the installation went
well, and that the equipment is functioning
properly.
